Arena Gammon Terms of Use
By accessing or using Arena Gammon, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Privacy and data deletion are explained separately in our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion Instructions. The Turkish version is available at Kullanım Şartları.
1. The Service
Arena Gammon is an online backgammon service that may include lobby features, quick play, private tables, player profiles, match chat, game records, fairness tools, dice verification, analysis features, friend/block tools, and related community functionality. The service is for entertainment, practice, and skill-based play. It is not a gambling, betting, payment, money transfer, financial, escrow, or prize redemption service.
2. Eligibility and Age
- The service is not directed to children under 13.
- If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with any required parent or guardian permission.
- You are responsible for making sure that your use of the service is lawful where you are located.
- We may restrict or terminate access if we believe an account is ineligible, unsafe, fraudulent, or being used in violation of these Terms.
3. Accounts and Sign-In
- You may create an account using supported sign-in methods such as email, Google, or Facebook.
- You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping it up to date.
- You are responsible for protecting your password, session, device, and account access.
- You may not use another person's account without permission, sell or transfer your account, or share your account for abusive purposes.
- Some features may require email verification, security checks, App Check, rate limits, or other anti-abuse controls.
4. Usernames and Profiles
Usernames, nicknames, profile details, and public game information may be visible to other users. You may not use names or profile content that are offensive, abusive, misleading, impersonating another person, infringing third-party rights, obscene, discriminatory, hateful, or designed to attack the security or integrity of the service. We may reject, reserve, remove, or require changes to usernames and profile content at any time.
5. No Real Money, Payments, Gambling, Betting, or Prizes
Arena Gammon currently does not charge users or accept payments. Arena Gammon must never be used to play for real money. The service does not offer, support, authorize, process, or facilitate gambling, betting, wagering, prize pools, cash games, deposits, withdrawals, payment collection, debt settlement, escrow, commissions, cryptocurrency, gift cards, vouchers, chips, tokens, or any item of monetary value.
Arena Gammon does not act as an intermediary for payments between users, does not collect or route payments for matches, and does not connect match results to any outside payment, reward, or settlement arrangement. Scores, ratings, badges, statistics, analysis, match results, and other in-service indicators have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money or anything of monetary value.
Offering, requesting, arranging, advertising, linking to, or facilitating gambling, betting, wagers, payment transfers, paid match outcomes, account sales, point sales, prize pools, or any outside financial arrangement through or in connection with the service is a material violation of these Terms and may result in immediate permanent account termination.
If paid memberships, subscriptions, packages, cosmetic features, or any other paid services are introduced in the future, separate purchase and refund terms will be published. If an account is terminated for a serious violation, refunds may be denied except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
6. Game Rules and Match Results
- Matches are governed by the in-service backgammon rules, scoring, timing, doubling cube, Crawford, resignation, forfeit, and timeout flows.
- Server records may be used as the authoritative technical record for dice, moves, turns, time, resignation, timeout, forfeit, and match results.
- Disconnection, browser closure, inactivity, failure to return, or abuse of pause/resume features may result in timeout, forfeit, or match loss.
- If a technical error, data inconsistency, security risk, or suspected abuse occurs, we may review, correct, replay, cancel, or disregard a match or result.
7. Fair Play and Prohibited Conduct
You must use the service fairly, honestly, and in a way that does not harm other users, the service, or the integrity of games. The following conduct is prohibited:
- Profanity, insults, harassment, threats, humiliation, discriminatory abuse, hate speech, sexual abuse, or targeted degrading behavior toward other users.
- Offering, requesting, organizing, or facilitating money, betting, gambling, prizes, debt, payment, commissions, account sales, match sales, point sales, or outside payment arrangements.
- Cheating, bots, automation, scripts, emulators, scraping, multi-account manipulation, collusion, win trading, or any attempt to manipulate match outcomes.
- Attempting to manipulate dice, moves, score, time, matchmaking, lobby systems, analysis systems, ratings, records, or fairness proofs.
- Attempting to bypass security controls, App Check, rate limits, server validation, authentication, or access controls.
- Using the service for unlawful activity, spam, scams, impersonation, threats, harassment, or conduct that may harm accounts, devices, infrastructure, or users.

8. Dice Fairness and Analysis
Arena Gammon uses technical controls intended to support dice generation that is independent from the board position and can be reviewed through available fairness records. More information is available on the Dice Fairness Statement. We may update algorithms, verification tools, proof formats, and security systems for safety, reliability, performance, or product development.
Analysis, hints, evaluations, and AI-assisted outputs are provided to support learning and review. They may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect and should not be treated as guaranteed results, professional advice, or an official ruling on any match outcome.
9. Chat, Messages, Reports, and User Content
You are responsible for the content you submit, including match chat, lobby messages, feedback, reports, screenshots, profile details, and similar materials. You grant Arena Gammon a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, transmit, moderate, and use that content as needed to operate the service, provide safety tools, show messages, handle support, investigate violations, and improve the service.
- Profanity, insults, harassment, threats, hate speech, sexually explicit abuse, doxxing, spam, advertising, and illegal content are prohibited.
- Requests for money, payment links, betting or prize discussions, and attempts to tie match results to outside payment arrangements are prohibited.
- You may not share another person's email, phone number, address, identity details, payment details, or sensitive information without permission.
- Report, block, complaint, and safety tools must not be used maliciously, dishonestly, or to harass other users.
10. Moderation, Suspension, and Termination
We may review accounts, match records, technical signals, user content, reports, and safety data to protect the service, prevent cheating, enforce these Terms, comply with law, and protect users. If we identify a violation or risk, we may issue a warning, remove content, change or reserve a username, adjust match or score records, limit features, suspend access, or permanently terminate an account.
Serious violations, including profanity or abuse directed at other users, harassment, threats, hate speech, cheating, attempts to bypass security, money exchange, payment facilitation, gambling, betting, wagering, or prize arrangements, may result in immediate permanent account termination without prior notice.
Arena Gammon currently does not accept payments, so there is no in-service refund process when an account is terminated. If paid features are introduced in the future, refund consequences for accounts terminated because of serious violations will be handled under these Terms and any separate purchase/refund terms then published.
11. Appeals and Review Process
A user who wants to appeal an account termination, temporary or permanent ban, content removal, username change, feature restriction, match/score adjustment, or similar moderation decision may contact arenagammon@gmail.com or use the in-service complaint/suggestion button within 7 days after receiving notice of the decision or becoming aware of it.
The appeal should include the username, account email, relevant match, message, date, screenshot, or other information needed to review the decision, together with a short explanation of why the user believes the decision was incorrect. During the review, existing restrictions may remain in place to protect security, prevent cheating, or protect other users. Arena Gammon will review appeals within a reasonable time and may change a decision if a clear error, technical issue, or missing information is identified. For serious violations, abuse, or security risks, the decision after review may be final. Statutory complaint and appeal rights remain unaffected.
12. Community Guidelines
Arena Gammon's short conduct rules are published in the Community Guidelines. They explain that profanity, insults, harassment, threats, money/betting discussions, cheating, sharing personal information, spam, scams, and unlawful conduct are prohibited. The Community Guidelines are part of these Terms, and violating them is a violation of these Terms.
13. Moderation Evidence and Records
To review profanity, insults, harassment, threats, cheating, payment/betting facilitation, personal data exposure, or other violations, we may use chat records, reports, in-service feedback, screenshots, match records, move/dice/score history, technical logs, device/browser signals, IP information, security records, and App Check/rate limit data. These records may be retained for a reasonable period for safety, anti-cheat, support, appeal review, and legal compliance.
14. Subscription and Paid Feature Clarity
Arena Gammon currently does not accept payments, process deposits or withdrawals, or provide any balance, credit, token, chip, or item of monetary value inside the service. If paid memberships, subscriptions, packages, cosmetic features, in-app purchases, or any other paid service are introduced in the future, separate purchase, cancellation, and refund terms will be published.
If paid features are introduced in the future and a user's account is terminated because of profanity, harassment, cheating, payment/betting facilitation, security violations, or another serious violation, refunds may be denied except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
15. Service Operator Information
The official contact and legal notice channel for Arena Gammon is arenagammon@gmail.com. If the service is later published under a company, sole proprietor, trade name, registered address, representative, or different official operator information, this page will be updated. Company, address, or registry information not published on this page should not be assumed.
16. Copyright, Trademark, and DMCA/IP Complaints
If you believe that a username, profile, image, message, screenshot, or other content infringes copyright, trademark, personality rights, or similar rights, contact arenagammon@gmail.com or use the in-service complaint/suggestion button.
Your complaint should identify the right you believe is infringed, the relevant content link or username, information showing that you are the right holder or an authorized representative, your contact details, the action you request, and a good faith statement. False, misleading, or abusive IP complaints are not accepted and may lead to action against your account. Users whose content is removed may send a counter explanation or appeal through the same channels.
17. Sanctions, Restricted Countries, and Proceeds of Crime
You may not use the service in a way that violates embargoes, sanctions, export controls, or similar official restrictions. Users who are listed on sanctions lists, users located in places where access is legally prohibited, or users who intend to use the service for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion, or unlawful fund transfers may not use the service.
18. Mobile Apps and App Store / Google Play
If Arena Gammon is later made available through the App Store, Google Play, or another app store, that store's terms of service, payment rules, subscription/refund rules, device permission rules, and distribution policies may also apply. These Terms continue to govern use of the service; store terms may additionally govern store-based purchases, downloads, refunds, and device-level interactions.
19. Intellectual Property
Arena Gammon names, logos, visual assets, interfaces, text, code, game flows, designs, fairness tools, and other service elements are owned by Arena Gammon or their respective rights holders. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service only as permitted by these Terms. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, commercially exploit, reverse engineer, interfere with, or create unauthorized derivative works from the service.
20. Third-Party Services
The service may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, security, messaging, analytics, social sign-in, infrastructure, or similar functions. These services may include Firebase/Google, Facebook, and other providers. Third-party terms and privacy policies may apply to their services. Outages, restrictions, changes, or failures in third-party services may affect Arena Gammon.
21. Privacy and Data Deletion

22. Service Changes and Availability
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue lobby, matchmaking, game, analysis, profile, safety, fairness, and other features at any time. The service is provided without any guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, available in every country, or compatible with every device or browser. Maintenance, updates, network issues, abuse prevention, third-party service problems, or unexpected technical events may limit access.
23. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, lost data, lost reputation, lost expected benefits, match disputes, connection issues, third-party service failures, or user conduct. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not allowed by law.
24. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for your use of the service, your content, your account activity, and any violation of these Terms, applicable law, or third-party rights. You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your unlawful use, abusive conduct, prohibited content, or breach of these Terms.
25. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide notice in the service or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
26. Language Priority
If there is any conflict between the Turkish and English versions of these Terms, the Turkish version will control unless mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.
27. Global Availability and Local Law
Arena Gammon may be accessible from different countries, but accessibility does not mean the service is offered as gambling, betting, payment facilitation, financial services, money transfer, or prize gaming in any jurisdiction. You may use the service only where it is legal for you to do so. If local law imposes stricter rules on age, consumer rights, data protection, online conduct, online games, or digital services, you are responsible for complying with those rules.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits non-waivable consumer rights, data protection rights, statutory refund rights, or rights to complain to public authorities that apply to you under the laws of your country. If any provision is unenforceable under mandatory local law, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
28. Governing Law and Disputes
Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Your mandatory consumer rights, data protection rights, and rights to contact competent public authorities remain unaffected.
